Ok so I have officially been a crap blogger apologies people! since being back after a year out in the industry it is very hard to adapt to deadlines. However, my first brief since being back consisted of creating 3 garments that made two outfits. My inspiration was Star Wars met Escher (a very clever mathematical pattern genius for those who dont know him). The focal point was to look at ways in which shapes created new shapes....I looked at the triangle in particular and made my own fabric.
We had a panel of judges (one from 125 MAGAZINE) from the industry who criticised our garments and gave us structural feedback. I received positive feedback and was told that my stylin was very on point and to push this further. I will leave the judging to you guys. I hope you like what you see as I amongst my class have spent day and night for 5 weeks sewing and designing. The life of a third year is now beginning.....
