Final Collection finally arrives

My Line up

Ok, so this is the moment ive been waiting for all my life. The build up to create the most immense collection of all time. The opportunity to establish myself as a young designer and to show old eyes new things! Finding the basis of your collection isnt easy, especially if your miss getsobored easily like me. I delved in to the mind of a mathematical genius called Escher who created forms which integrated in to one another to make a repetitive pattern that could also make new characters.
I wanted to produce something similar with his technique in mind. With a stack of origami books the final collection process began to flow. The electra shape sought a form that could be repeated and manipulated and thus, led me to experiment. Having a fetish for plastic, things entrapped in plastic, things covered in plastic, and just plastic in general i covered the card in sticky back plastic and bolted the shapes together using metal brads. The result was modern, sculptural and edgy. I then differed these shapes in size and went from extreme scales. Out came a few accessories and clutch bags.......
