Show Selection Day

Being the scatter brains I am, I was arranging my stuff the night before show selection aka judgement day! I guess this is when the anxiety attacks kicked in and the adrenaline took over. I brought my shoes three days before and was up taping the soles so i could cheekily take them back after the show (a trick from the trade). The Lai sweat team was called in and I had my lil helpers running errands for me. Jenny was on the line-up arranging what looks went where, what size model I needed and what accessories it was teamed with aswel as what style of shoe. Zoe was bagging the looks up with labels and doing them the once over with the sticky roller, whilst best mate Danielle was at the computer writing all instructions and printing off any important info ready to be taped on the front of the bags. I on the other hand was packing the wine in to the boxes of shoes as I knew come the next day it would be needed, I finished off any last sewing and was all nicely tucked in bed by 3am....what a miracle as most of the others did an allnighter! The joke was the next morning, Dean came to escort us to uni..not only did we have to drive back as Danni had forgotten something, but Dean took a wrong turning which led us in to a line of congestion.We were the last to arrive at uni considering i lived the closest! Ironic that! To make matters worse, whilst sorting out my clothes out on the rack a model came over and spilt her starbucks all over my line-up....fantastic...a good start to a nerve racking day!!
