MOBO meeting

Howdy there my fashionista's. So the last couple of days I have been doing the usual- requests, emails and networking malarky as well as drawing up designs for that celebrity MOBO award dress. I decided to take elements from my final collection and to re-work the aesthetic in to a new style. A more glamorous, chic and edgy image.


I made new types of jewellery and samples and was able to design fluidly for a change before my BIG meeting.
It was scheduled to meet at 4:30pm today in Oxford Street. Lara Croft was my inspirational look for the day, i wanted to feel powerful in tomboy boots instead of my six inched heels-i thought my calf muscles deserved a break!


Once i got there the celebrity greeted me politely whilst she took a blackberry and Starbuck break. I was ushered in to the room with her stylist where i presented them with my designs and ideas. From there we discussed what silhouette to work with and types of fabrics and embellishments. Having marked my strongest designs I now have to email over more of a variety of possibilities on Tuesday.


My next fitting will be just after LFW so this movement will be happening in a blink of an eye! There is even talk of me doing something for the BRIT awards in February....I have to take one step at a time otherwise im just going to drop on the floor and faint....so far its going ok, I just need to learn to trust myself and go with it, im gonna need a bitch slap every now and again though, just for focus!
