I'm hoping that this message finds you well? I basically wanted to throw something in your direction to see if you'd be interested in getting involved!
I've started working full time with multi award winnning British singer, Jamelia. Were currently in the middle of prepping for her album/single promo shoot, music video, short viral film (which will hopefully be directed by W.I.Z., The same guy who directed her "See It In A Boy's Eyes" video") and debut performance at this years MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) Awards in October. We also have a lot of primetime television appearances (BBC, T4/ Channel 4, ITV, GMTV, MTV ect) and press junkets coming up, in the lead up to the release of her first single from her Forth studio album…. Were working towards a more stronger, more polished and more higher end image.
Jamelia recently signed a new deal with Universal records after parting ways with Parlophone almost 4 years ago! During the time off Jamelia has been in and out the studio with a plethora of internationally renown producers (Shea Taylor, Syience, Ne-Yo, Pharrell Williams and 50 Cent) and writers who have all aided her in creating an outstanding musical masterpiece!
I really want for Jamelia's EVOLUTION to be about the NEW… Mixing established designers with those that are on the rise! I've been a fan of your work for sometime now and I would absolutely LOVE it if you were able to create a few custom made looks for her to wear for any number of events or shoots! I know that your extremely busy with fashion week prep but I'm hoping that your schedule permits for you to get involved!!!
Myself, Jay (Creative director and stylist) and Jamelia have all worked very closely in creating and forging a very conceptual vision for this record! Were all so excited to see it come to life!!! If you do choose to get involved in this project there are a few restrictions that have been set in place. The first is the colour palette. Were currently ONLY working with the colour BLACK! Obviously this can be interrupted in many different ways through any kind of fabric you wish! You are however allowed to use what ever trimmings you desire in any colour you want I.E: gold zips, pink piping, yellow tassels ect… Just as long as the majority of the fabric being used is BLACK!
