PRESS

Looking at my past stack of messy papers of old requests I decided to eagerly plough through them.
At least half of the stylists hadnt even sent me so much as a Jpeg of the shoot! When you do things for free in fashion whether it be lending your collection for promotion or interning, you do expect to benefit from it somehow. I guess today I got annoyed for all the times I bagged up my collection to be collected, styled and shot and to have not seen a final result of my efforts. After doing this passionately since June where your collection gets the odd wear and tear and your garment bags get lost and forgotten, you feel by seeing a result will somehow make it seem worth it. I want to have amazing images in my portfolio, for me to look at my work in oar, and for me as the Designer to be appreciated for the months I spent in blood, sweat and tears producing such items worthy to be photographed.

The email I drafted out seemed to have some effect as within the hour of emailing everyone I got sent back a few apologies alongside some fab images! Being persistent and passionate about your work rubs off. Im glad I got the urge to chase up everyone, even if it did take over two hours!

Here are a few of the the images I received back:
