The best part of lending your collection to major events like these is receiving the appreciation 'gift'. Ceri, the senior stylist booked me four free tickets not only to the venue but to the show aswel. I rounded up my shopaholic whores and we turned it in to a roadtrip!
We shopped like absolute maniacs considering we only had two hours left to kill before the last showing began. This meant splitting up and meeting somewhere in the middle. My *gosh* did my girls do me proud. Gelly practically brought out the whole entire make-up counters, and Chan had bagged every possible vintage bargain going! I on the other hand had my eagle out in search for something that looked a million dollars but cost a fraction of the price. Cheating is fun! I luckily scooped up some *lush* heavily embellished dresses which couldve easily been in DKNY for at least 150! (*coughs* which I got for 10 a piece..do i hear an applause) my other dresses consisted of a salmon pink chiffon loose boho dress, and a tailored shoulder sparkly fitted dress....obviously equipped with a few accessories and nail polishes to complete the look!
The queue to the venue was insane! I had such crap tickets that I thought the 'gift of my gab'would come in handy if I wanted to upgrade. Over at the ticket booth I used my persuasive charm and managed to knock down a few rows going from Z to J. Whilst seated inside I went again to charm security to move even closer to the stage-this worked oh so magically and we ended upgrading to front of house seats right in front of the stage! BEST SEATS IN THE HOUSE APPARENTLY! If my collection was in the show it was only fair oI got a good view of it. I left my binoculars at home-sorry!
What I loved more about this show was the fact they were the same cast from BNTM. Anthony and Gaz found me amongst the audience and were throwing odd winks and smiles at me. Gaz even during one part of his dancing scenes came over and handed me his 'diamond' which turned out to be a jacket potato!! This was HILLERIOUS!! He was using it as part of his stunt at the time.
Afterwards the girls and I gossiped frantically about the show whist queuing for yet another free goodie bag before heading for the long journey home. It was time to reveal the damage we'd all done on our plastics! I am hiding all evidence as I still havent begun christmas shopping! I guess I still have 14 days left!
